Yes I have been communicating people from all around the world since last week and it made me think that I am quite good at pronunciation! Maybe I need to quit from that project! :)) Just kidding...
Now let’s be serious... I have developed a new "methodology" to find out the words I am not able to pronounce: watching the people's face while I am talking! It is fun! Really!

Sometimes I start to my speech very elegantly... I am using very proper words with an acceptable pronunciation. Everybody is happy. Then...here it is! I am saying ONE word and the fairy tale turns to reality, and my beautiful princess car is transformed into an old buffer! :)) You should see the expressions and the looks of the people at those moments. They really try to understand what is going on and what on earth I am trying to say and they try not to make me take offence, they are being kind to me and try to help me to find the correct sound or word :) .. ohh.. They are really cute and nice…

Yes I must confess that it was pretty frustrating for me at the beginning. You know you have something to tell and are excited about it… but a word -or a bunch of words! :) - block you!
Then I decided to turn it to a good purpose as an amateur creator, of course! :)) I told to myself:
“Melody! Now this is a good opportunity for your discovery process. Who says that discovery process is funny all the time?! :)”
Now, I am on my track to find out new words I can not pronounce properly with this new perspective! A few examples:
Coliseum
Bias
Creativity (can you believe it?!)
Callaway J
Law/Love (I could never imagine that I would to confuse love with law! J )
Cue (especially when It is plural)
Suffice
Perspective
Efficiently
Humorous
Concept
Percentage
Separately

And if you notice some words which I lack to pronounce, inform me please (We all know that you can find some! :)) )
See you next week…
M
